1. Loosen screw (63) and swing flange guard (62) up
2. To remove the saw blade: Use the two tools supplied, insert the one
for 5 mm HEX key in the hole (61) to look and the HEX Wrench in the
blade's bolt No. 64, then loosen the blot to clockwise direction.
3. Release the movable blade guard and open it.
4. Remove the following parts from the saw spindle:
- Blade's bolt (64),
- outer blade flange (65),
- saw blade (66),
- inner blade flange (67).
5. Clean clamping surfaces of:
- saw spindle,
- inner blade flange,
- saw blade,
- outer blade flange,
- Blade's bolt.
Danger: Do not use cleaning agents (e.g. to remove resin residue) that
could corrode the light metal components of the saw; the stability othe
saw would be adversely affected.
6. Put outer blade flange (67) on the two flanks must fit over the flats
of the saw spindle!
Danger: Fit the inner blade flange correctly! Otherwise the saw may be
blocked, or the saw blade could work loose! The inner blade flange is in
the correct position when the chamfered collar (69) shows to the right
and the spring ring groove (68) shows to the left.
7. Mount new saw blade (66) -observe rotational direction (the arrows
on both saw blade and blade guard must point inthe same direction)!
Danger: Use only saw blades conforming to standards and which are de -
signed for the maximum speed (see "Technical Specifications") - when
using unsuitable or damaged saw blades, parts might be hurled away
explosive-like by the centrifugal force.
Do not use:
- saw blades made of high speed steel (HSS).
- damaged saw blades.
- cut-off wheel blades.
