9.1.3 How to properly coat bed with hospital bedding
The delivery bed must be protected against excessive dirt by a fabric covering! One
of the options is using a covering from the operating room, the size of which
corresponds to that of the relevant delivery bed section, or with a fabric coating used
for standard beds. First of all, the lying section, back section or seat section will be
covered, then the entire foot section and foot rests. We recommend covering
exposed surfaces (seat section, foot rest) additionally with absorption gauze.
