CVT SYSTEM

4. Remove the entire re-coil starter bolt.

Remove the lock nut, washer, and the re-coil start pawl

from the crankshaft.

Clutch Cover Removal

6. Remove all screws from CVT case and case.

1. Remove the left foot rest.

2. Loosen the duct clamps and slide ducts upward off cover.

3. Remove all screws and cover with re-coil start attached.

Use two hands to hold the cam plate and the primary

sliding sheave together when removing the primary

sliding sheave and the cam plate assembly.

This prevents the roller weights from falling out of the

assembly.
