MAINTENANCE
WARNING
Incorrect maintenance may cause serious injuries and significant material damage.
•
Make sure that you have read and understood the safety information contained in chapter 2 of
this manual.
•
Assign maintenance operations only to personnel authorized for the specific task (see section 2.2).
The Manufacturer declines any liability for damage to property or injury to persons resulting from
the use of non-original spare parts or unapproved extraordinary maintenance interventions,
which may compromise the functionality and safety of the gearbox.
Always comply with the current local safety regulations when working on electrical equipment.
7.1
PRELIMINARY OPERATIONS
Before performing any maintenance operation, you should:
•
Disconnect the power supply of the machine in which the gearbox is incorporated, for example by
isolating the corresponding section of the electrical system.
•
Make sure that the power supply cannot be accidentally re-energized, for example by locking the
electrical panels.
•
Delimit the working area to prevent unauthorized personnel from crossing and mark the area
with appropriate safety signs.
•
Check that every auxiliary circuit is de-energized.
•
Inform all personnel operating in the surrounding areas of the work in progress.
7.2

The maintenance intervals listed in table 7 are expressed both in working hours and in calendar
intervals. Maintenance operations must be carried out according to the earliest of the two
occurrences.
