ALARM: Stop the acoustic signal
Stop the signal tone for the alarm function.
VACATION 3s: Vacation mode
Press the button for about 3 seconds to acti-
vate/deactivate the vacation mode.
LOCK 3s: Control panel lock
Press the button for about 3 seconds to lock/unlock
the operation of the control panel.
The control panel locks automatically after about
25 seconds without any operation.
Function description
Super cooling
When the super cooling function is activated, the
device operates at maximum power
(approx. +2°C)
to speed up the cooling process.
The super cooling function switches off automatically
after about 3 hours. The internal temperature adapts
to the preset temperature.
The function can be ended at any time before the
switch-off time has expired.
Vacation mode
CAUTION:
Do not store any fresh or perishable food in the ap-
pliance during this time.
Cause of longer absence you can put the appliance
into holiday mode.
During this period, the fridge is cooled down to only
+17°C. It does not only save energy, but also pre-
vents unpleasant odors and mold, as the appliance is
not completely switched off.
Alarm function
As soon as the appliance door remains open for
more than 90 seconds. Press the ALARM button or
close the appliance door to stop the acoustic signal.
If the appliance door remains open for more than
10 minutes, the interior light goes out.
Starting the appliance
• Connect the appliance to the power supply.
• Set the operating conditions. See also the follow-
ing section "Settings".
Settings
Note that the temperature will change depending on
the ambient temperature, frequency of door opening
and the amount of food in the appliance.
During initial operation, adjust the lowest possible
temperature (= highest power level), or select the
super cooling function first, until the appliance has
reached the desired operating temperature. After-
wards it is recommended to turn the control back to a
medium setting; correcting the temperature at a later
point would then be easier.
NOTE:
In generally a medium power level works best for an
optimized food storage. A high power level also in-
creases the energy consumption.
Interior light
When opening the appliance door, the interior light
will turn on automatically.
Storing food
NOTE: Recommendation!
To guarantee that the temperature is low enough,
you should pre-cool the appliance a few times before
initial loading foods.
CAUTION:
Always pay attention to the storage instructions on
the sales packaging.
Always store food covered or packed to prevent dry-
ing-out and transfer of odor or taste onto other food
