Fill in fresh engine oil through the filler opening
(Fig. 60).

Screw the oil filler cap back on.

After a short test run check the oil level on the
dipstick (Fig. 61), correct the oil level as nec-
essary.
6.16 Replacing the fuel filter
Danger

Fire hazard!
When working on the fuel system do not use
open fire, do not smoke, do not spill any fuel.
Danger

Health hazard!
Do not inhale any fuel fumes.
Environment
Catch running out fuel and dispose of environ-
mentally together with the fuel filter.

In case of contamination drain off and catch the
sludge from the fuel tank, flush out with clean die-
sel fuel.

Close the fuel tap (Fig. 62), set the handle to
horizontal position.
