1.1) Receiver logic functions
1.11) To activate the remote control, press and hold the UNLOCK button for at least 3
seconds, then release. Until this is done, the remote control will not respond to any other
buttons. This takes the receiver out of its low power or sleep mode. The sleep mode
conserves battery power, making it un-necessary for us to have an on-off switch on the
receiver. With this scheme, a fresh generator battery will not be discharged by the
receiver for at least 6 months. For longer storage, it
’s recommended that the receiver
power be disconnected from the battery.
1.12) The remote control will remain active for 3 minutes once the receiver is taken out
of sleep mode. During this time, all other button functions are active. After the 3 minute
time out, the UNLOCK button must be pressed (refer to section 1.11) once again to re-
activate all button functions.
1.13) To start the generator once the remote is unlocked, press and release the ARM
button, then press and release the START button. The start output is activated for 3
seconds to start the generator.
If the generator does not start on the first try, repeat
starting procedure. For each attempt to start the generator, ARM must be pressed
before pressing START.
1.14) To stop the generator, press the STOP button. The stop output is activated as
long as the STOP button is pressed. NOTE: STOP function remains active once remote
is in sleep mode. The UNLOCK button doesn’t need to be activated to use this feature.
