Power up the device
Two methods of powering up the device:
1. Use the 12V DC power adaptor included
with the product
2. Use 1 Gigabit network switch PoE++
(
PoE++, IEEE 802.3bt Type 3, class 6
compliant
)
Selecting Cables
•
Network Cable: Use with gigabit transmission (1000BASE-T), be sure to use a CAT5e or higher network cable (you
can use CAT6 and CAT7 cables as necessary).

HDMI Cable: Support 4K 60Hz (4:4:4 HDR10 HDCP 2.2), High speed
•
SDI Cable: 12GHz Coax, 4K UHD Precision Video Cable, RG 6, 75 Ohm. Reference: Belden 4694R/RG-6/U is a
suitable cable to transmit broadcast-quality video:
Obtain Video Signal
Use Dante AV encoder to coding traditional HDMI signals to Dante AV video stream
Use Dante AV encoder/decoder for Dante AV streaming and HDMI/SDI output
For detail, please refer to User guide Part Two
1. Use Cat6 network cable to connect Dante AV encoder to the PoE network switch.
2. Use Cat6 network cable to connect Dante AV decoder to the same PoE network switch.
3. Connect a traditional HDMI source (like a HDMI camera signal) to Dante AV encoder HDMI In port.
4. The HDMI camera source will be coded to Dante AV stream in the network
5. Use Cat6 network cable to connect the PC that installed Dante Controller to the same network switch.
6. Running the Dante Controller, check to subscribe video TX (Dante AV encoder HDMI video) to RX
(Dante AV decoder HDMI video) connection.
7. Dante AV video stream will be routed to display on the HDMI monitor via Dante AV decoder.
8. When use D20S(Decoder) for 12G-SDI output, connect a 12G-SDI router or monitor via 12G-SDI
cable to display SDI video.
