5.1 Mechanical set-up
5.1.1 Using a shunt
A shunt (2 pins) is located on the standard HM/HMS movement on the rear side of the
clock.
Shunt
LED
Using this shunt allows you to perform several operations on the clock:
- The factory configuration is restored by shunting (with a screwdriver, for example)
the 2 pins located at the back of the clock (long shunt > 5 sec during operation),
- You can position the hands at 12 o'clock by shunting the same two pins when turning
on the clock,
- AP (Access Point) mode is activated by a short shunt (< 5 sec).
Activating the AP mode takes 4 hours if the clock is already connected to an access point,
(AP mode remains active otherwise). Shunting again takes you out of AP mode.
