Attach the plasma torch to the machine torch connector outlet.

Attach the work return lead and connector to the machine.

Connect power source and switch machine on.

Set the required amperage.

Ensure proper PPE is worn before operating.

7.1 Fitting the consumables

Place the electrode

Do not over tighten the shield cup
IMPORTANT
As a safety feature of the torch, the cutting torch will not operate
unless the shield cup body is properly fi tted.
7.3 Fitting the torch to the power source

7.4 Selecting the correct air
pressure and fl ow rate
Compressed air from compressed air lines is often contaminated with
moisture and oil residue. Contaminants such as these shorten the life of
the consumable torch parts. It is therefore recommended that an inline
fi lter drying system be fi tted to all air delivery lines.
When air is supplied from a portable air compressor, it is important to
ensure that the compressor has adequate pressure and airfl ow rate
capacity such as the BOC 14 (and upwards) air compressors.
