Connecting the Air curtain to a Thermostat 

 

You  may  connect  the  air  curtain  to  a  Thermostat.  We  recommend  our  RST-TP  tamperproof  thermostat  or  RST-IN  Thermostat  both 

available from your local electrical wholesaler. 

 

Do not use any thermostats that require a separate connection to the mains supply. 

 

Connect the thermostat as shown in the drawing below. 

 

Use 0.75mm² 3 core cable (3

rd

 core if earth connection required). 

 

You  MUST  first  remove  the  link  between  A1  and  B4  on  switch  S1  (On/Off  Switch)  and  replace  with  the  thermostat  as  shown  in  the 

drawing below. 

 

When the room reaches the required temperature the heating elements will turn off BUT the fan will continue to run ensuring you still 

have a curtain of air present. If the room temperature drops below the set point of the thermostat  the heating elements will come on 

again. 

 

The Air curtain may be fitted with a timer and thermostat should you require both.
