iDrive
Concept
The iDrive combines the functions of many
switches. These functions can be operated via
the Controller.
Buttons on the Controller
Button Function
Press once: calls up the main menu.
Press twice: displays all menu items
of the main menu.
Goes to the Communication menu.
Goes to the Media/Radio menu.
Goes to destination input menu for
navigation.
Goes to navigation map.
Press once: opens the previous dis‐
play.
Press and hold: open the menus used
last.
Goes to the Options menu.
Voice control
Activating the voice control system
1. Press the button on the steering
wheel.
2. Wait for the signal.
3. Say the command.
This icon indicates that the voice control
system is active.
If no other commands are possible, operate the
function via iDrive.
Terminating the voice control
system
Press the button on the steering wheel
or ›Cancel‹.
