
3.8 Coding, concluding work
This system is coding relevant.
To ensure that the retrofit system:

is fully functional
-
does not suffer malfunctions and faults in conjunction with the other electrical systems in the vehicle, this
system and, if necessary, other vehicle control units must be coded.
In addition it is stored in the central code of the IKE.
This coding is completed automatically using the current coding program in the "Retrofit" path.
The procedure is user-guided and the text instructions for completing the various steps are to be followed.
As from version C15, this retrofit coding is included for this product.
The latest version of the coding program is to be used for the coding process.

label.
Print out the error memory.
Conduct a function test.
Re-assemble the car by installing the components you removed in reverse order.
