3.6 To install and connect the microphone

Cars with sunroof
The sunroof motor cover (15) must be ordered separately to match the trim colour (see ETK / MF for
part number).
Remove the cover of the sunroof motor.
Press the microphone cover (11) and microphone (12) into the sunroof motor cover (15) (see directional arrow on
the microphone - the arrow must point to the front of the car). Press the sunroof switch (44) into the sunroof motor
cover (15). Connect up the sunroof switch (44). Connect branch

from the microphone wiring harness to the
microphone (12) near the interior light at the front. Install the sunroof motor cover (15).

Cars without sunroof
Carefully cut out the cut-out (45) in the centre for the microphone cover at a distance

from the interior light (46).

= 67 mm
The microphone cover (16) and the trim (17) must be ordered separately to match the trim colour
(see ETK / MF for part number).
Push the support frame (18) through the cut-out (45) under the roof liner (47).
Press the trim (17) into the cut-out (45) and secure it with the support frame (18).
Press the microphone (12) into the microphone cover (16) (see directional arrow on the microphone - the arrow
must point to the front of the car).
Connect branch

to the microphone (12) near the interior light at the front and press the microphone cover (16)
into the trim (17).
