Changing air filter
• Place the motorcycle on its
main stand [Dakar: side stand]
– Make sure the ground is
level and firm.
• Remove the seat
• Remove the right side panel

flange off intake stub

• Pull intake stub

out of the
connecting flange and front
holder

• Pull air filter element

out of
the air filter housing
• Place the new filter element in
position inside the air filter
housing
• From this point on, installation
is the reverse of the removal
procedure
When installing intake stub

begin by slipping the projection
into front holder
