To install the BMW aluminium footrest

Place the drilling template (D) on the surface of the
footrest (1) on the side footwell trim (2) in the
centre between the edge radius on each side.
Adjust the bottom right corner of the drilling
template until it is flush with the bottom edge of the
surface of the footrest (1). Mark the holes from the
drilling template (D) on to the surface of the
footrest (1) on the side footwell trim (2).
Remove the drilling template (D). Centrepunch the
holes (1), drill then with a 3 mm drill bit and deburr
them.

Press the rubber pad (B) into the aluminium plate
(A) from the rear. Secure the aluminium plate (A)
with the fitted rubber pad (B) to the surface of the
footrest (1) in the side footwell trim (2) using the six
Torx screws K4 x 10 (C). Tighten the Torx screws
K4 x 10 (C) by hand.
