2.7.1
HEAD REST
The head rest is easily adjusted via a counterbalancing system located at the
rear of the backrest.
2.7.2
CENTRALLY CONTROLED BRAKE AND STEERING PEDAL
Make sure to apply the couch brakes at all times, except during transport. Check that the
brake is active by attempting to move the couch.
Do not park the couch on a sloping floor.
Lateral brake and steering pedals:

Brakes applied to couch
– red side in lowered position

Directional steering of couch
– green side in lowered position

Freehand steering of couch
- pedal at the middle position

2.7.3
SIDERAILS
The bars are intended to reduce the risk of the patient suffering accidental falls. They are in
no way designed to restrain the patient or to restrict the patient with strap-like immobilizing
devices.
Before adjusting the bars, make sure that there is nothing hampering their movement.
Do not move the couch around by its bars.
