MANAGING SYSTEM LOCKOUT, RECOVERY,

FIRMWARE UPGRADE, AND RESET

After 5 consecutive failed unlock attempts using a key card or fingerprint, you will hear

limit exceed. Try again later.

and your Origin Smart will enter lockdown mode for 1 minute.

During lockdown mode, the key card and fingerprint scanner will be inoperative; however, your

Origin Smart can still be operated by using the App.
After the 1-minute lockdown period is complete, all entry methods will work.

A system recovery will be triggered automatically after an unsuccessful firmware upgrade. The

lock system will be recovered to a previous workable version of firmware once triggered.
