SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS .
Don’t run.
• Only use the machine indoors.
•
Make sure the air conditioner is always in an upright position, even
when you’re moving it. Did the machine fall over? Put the air
conditioner in an upright position and wait at least 2 hours before
turning it on again.
• Don’t put anything in or on the machine and don’t cover it, since this
will block the grids for the incoming and outgoing air flow. This may
cause fire.
•
Don’t place anything in a 50-centimeter vicinity of the air conditioner.
• The machine needs to be installed according to national wiring
provisions. Before use, check whether the socket is suitable for the air
conditioner:
•
Grounded: the socket has 2 metal pins on the sides.
• Not damaged: tears, loose wires, or other defects.
•
Correct voltage: the average socket in The Netherlands and
Belgium is suitable.
• Turn off the air conditioner when you leave, even if it’s for a short
period of time.
•
Don’t use the machine near flammable or explosive substances. Don’t
use it either when you’re painting or working with cleaning sprays or
bug sprays.
• This machine may be used by children aged 8 years and up and by
people with reduced physical, sensory, or mental capabilities or lack
of experience and knowledge, provided that they’re supervised
or have received instructions on how to safely use the machine, and
that they understand the dangers involved.
•
Children shouldn’t play with the machine. Children shouldn’t clean or
perform user maintenance without supervision.
• Don’t use the machine in a humid environment, such as the bathroom.
Prevent splashing on or in the machine.
