Wheels brake control
(
Only available on ProSpeed version)
It consists of the lower lever situated on the right end
of the handlebar. When it is pulled
up, the braking action on the wheels is obtained. Use
the brake only with the machine in
neutral.
Parking brake
(
Only available on ProSpeed version)
To drive this control, pull the wheels brake lever and
connect the stop spring situated on
same. Remember to disconnect it before using the
machine.
Mowing machine control
It is situated on the right end of the handlebar. When the lever is pressed down the
mowing
machine is coupled; when it is released, the mowing machine is disconnected
from the
engine and simultaneously locked by the brake.

Warning, danger, caution.
Read the documentation and safety instructions for the product provided in the manual.
Moving blades. Do not put hands or feet near the blades.
Disconnect the spark plug cap and keep the cap away from the plug to prevent accidental starting.
Never use the machine while people, especially children or pets, are nearby.
Risk of intoxication.
Risk of fire or explosion.
2.0 SAFETY AND RISKS
This chapter must be read with close attention by anyone who must use the machine. It indicates the risks to which the
operator and the persons or animals or things around him may be exposed, and how to behave to avoid them.
2.1
Risk of thrown stones or other objects
Since stones or other objects might be thrown, it is absolutely necessary that there are no persons or animals in the
radius of 15 metres.
According to the EN12733 European standard, it is necessary to define a
safety area A
outside the work perimeter B, with suitable danger signals
which clearly indicate that it
is prohibited to enter the area. The distance
between the respective sides of the areas A
and B must not be less than 15 m.
The operator must immediately release the lever
which driver the mowing machine
if a person or animal has entered the danger zone and
wait until the area is
newly free before resuming work.
2.2
Risk of cuts
The mowing machine presents the risk of cuts. The safety brake controlled by the right-
hand
lever (mowing machine control) stops the cutter in a few seconds but is not
instantaneous.
Therefore, once the operator has released the right-hand lever, he must
not leave the driving
position until the disk is perfectly stopped. Start the machine
keeping the feet far from the cutter.
WARNING: approach the mowing machine only with engine switched off and all
members perfectly stopped.
The operator must immediately release both control levers if a person or animal has entered the danger zone of the
machine.
