HDE-1C-QAM 

Instruction Manual

QAM RF OUTPUT: 

“F” connector for QAM output. 

AUDIO: 

RCA connectors (marked L and R) for Analog Left/Right Audio input and RCA connector (marked “DIGITAL”) for Digital Audio 

program input.

CC:

RCA connector (marked “CC”) for Analog NTSC Closed Captioning (EIA-608, also known as Line 21), which will then be

digitized and inserted in the MPEG-2 Transport Stream. 

COMPONENT: 

RCA connectors (marked Pr, Pb, Y) for Analog Component Video input. The RCA connector (marked Y) is also used for 

Composite Video input.

DELAYED AUDIO OUTPUTS: 

Delayed Digital Audio: Adjustable delay setting from 0-2000msec in 1 msec increments to ensure proper lip syncing when 

an external audio amplifier with a digital input is used.
Delayed Analog Audio (optional): Adjustable delay setting from 0-2000 msec in 1 msec increments to ensure proper lip 

syncing when an external audio amplifier with an analog input is used.
