Electric Motors
Electric motors should be lubricated as indicated by the motor
manufacturer. Grease zerks are installed, do not over lubricate.
Reservoir
The fluid level in the reservoir should be
checked. If the level is low, return fluid to its
normal operating range. The fluid should be
changed after the initial 10 hours of operation
and every
100 HOURS thereafter.
Filters
The Hydraulic Power Unit is equipped with two suction strain-
ers and one low pressure return filter as well as a high pres -
sure filter. Each filter is equipped with a visual indicator, the
element should be changed when the indicator shows that the
filter is approaching “BYPASS” mode. Low pressure strainers
without visual indicators should be changed after the initial 10
hours of operation and every 100 hours thereafter.
Note: It is recommended that the filters and strainer elements
be changed whenever the FloorHand is put back into service
after overhaul.
Note: It is important to monitor the filters during the initial
start-up and during the break-in period.
Note: Indicators must be checked while Spinner motors are
running.
