Automatic Start of the Station Seek

Operation
(CD Playback)
When leaving the coverage area of the tuned
in traffic station, your car radio will automati-
cally start searching for a new traffic station
while you are listening to your CD.
During the seek operation, an alarm tone is
sent out.

CD Section

Inserting a CD

The disc drive of your car radio allows you to
play standard CDs or 3" CDs without adap-
ter.

Switch the car radio on.

Insert a CD (with the label facing up-
wards), but do not apply any force.

The CD is automatically transported into
playing position. The set starts to play the
CD.

Ejecting a CD

Press the CD eject button

than 1 second. The CD will be ejected.

Do not impede or support the automatic
insert or eject process to protect the CD
mechanism.

Selecting a track
The adjusted CD functions are on the display

 as soon as the CD is inserted.

Requirement: TPM

the titles stored with TPM. For selecting a title
with TPM, please refer to the section “Memo-

Tracks are skipped.

Rocker switch   depressed -
Tracks are repeated.

If the rocker switch   is pressed only once,
the track being played at the given moment
will be repeated from the beginning, provi-
ded the track had already been played for
more than 5 seconds.
The rocker switch is a sequence switch. By
pressing it repeatedly or keeping it depres-
sed, several music tracks can be skipped
successively.
The number of the selected music track
lights up in the display under Track

Memorizing and playing tracks
with TPM

TPM - Track Programme Memory

The TPM function allows you to select and
store 20 tracks each of 30 CDs.
With the TPM function activated (TPM is on
in the display 

C

l, the set plays the selected

tracks of the inserted CD.
If you insert a CD for which no titles have
been selected with TPM, the display will give
you  “NO-TPM”  for a moment. Then your
radio will play all titles of the CD.
