Insert the CD the TPM programme of
which you wish to maintain. “READ
DISK” appears in the display. The CD
is then automatically ejected.
The display indicates “NEXT DISC”.

Insert the next CD.

Repeat these steps for all the CDs having a
TPM programme you wish to maintain.

Press the TPM button

2 secs. to finish these steps.

Switch DSC off with

The TPM programme remains stored for
those CDs which have been inserted. For all
the other CDs, the TPM memory is cleared.

Selecting the display mode for
CD operation (name or time)

In the CD mode, you can either have the track
time or the entered CD name shown on the
display.
If you want a name to be displayed, you have
to enter it as described under “Entry/Display
of CD Name”.
For changing the display mode (name or
time), proceed as follows:

Press the DSC button

a gives you “BEEP ON”

or “BEEP OFF”.

Press the  /   rocker switch

“TIME ON” or “TIME OFF” is shown on
the display

Significance:

TIME OFF:

The display will show the name you
have entered before.

TIME ON:

The playing time of the title will be
shown.
“05.45” means that the title has been
played for 5 minutes and 45 seconds.

For changing the display mode, press
the right or left part of the rocker switch

Sensitivity of the Automatic
Station Seek Operation

In areas with an extremely high or very low
station densitity it might be useful to alter the
sensitivity of the automatic station seek (lo or
dx button).
For changing the sensitivity (lo or dx button

LOCAL stands for local reception (lo
button), DIS. significates distant recep-
tion (dx button).

Adjust the sensitivity with the << / >>
rocker switch

01 corresponds to high sensitivity
03 corresponds to low sensitivity

If required, use the lo button 6 to select
“LOCAL” or “DIS” abd change the sensitivity.
For memorizing the setting:

Press the DSC button

These functions can be separately adjusted
for KeyCard 1 and 2.
