Always test the machine manually before switching over to the Remote System.
Make sure the key is in the deadman switch and the emergency stop button on top of the steer is
turned up.
Turn the contact key (63) on the electrical box left to “LOC”.
Secure the belt with the remote control around the waist.
Make sure the wheel system is locked by turning both quick release pins into the wheels (54).
Make sure the remote control is turned on (62).
Push the RESET button (41) for 2 seconds and switch the LEFT/RIGHT switch (47) up and down.
Turn the SPEED button (46) till 0, so the grinding motor will turn as slow as possible.
To start grinding, push the START button (48).
Raise the speed of the grinding tools if necessary, with the speed regulation button (46).
Push the joystick (42) in the desirable direction to the drive the machine. The further the joystick (42)
is pushed into the desirable position, the faster the machine moves.
The SPEED FORWARD button (50) & the TRACKING button (51) don’t work in the manually controlled
mode, these functions only work in AUTO DRIVE-mode.
You can turn the machine around its axle by pushing the joystick totally to the right or totally to the
left. The machine can also turn around one wheel, this can be done by pushing the joystick to the left
or right upper corner.
AUTO DRIVE-mode
Use the FORWARD/REVERSE-switch (52) to select forward or reverse driving.
Use the SPEED FORWARD (50) to select the driving speed, always start slowly at first.
Set the TRACKING (51) in the middle position.
Now push the DRIVE-button (53), to drive the machine automatically.
Steer the machine left or right with TRACKING (51) and change the driving speed with (50).
NOTE: The joystick does not work in AUTO DRIVE-mode.
Push the DRIVE-button (53) to stop the AUTO DRIVE-mode. The machine can now be controlled with the
joystick again.
Always stop driving first before stop grinding!
To stop grinding, push the STOP button (49)
After pushing the EMERGENCY button (27), reset the control unit by pushing the RESET button (41)
for 2 seconds and switch the LEFT/RIGHT switch (47) up and down.
