2. Select the profile that you want to enable. Click the trackwheel
to view the menu. Click
Enable
. The word
(On)
appears beside
your selection.
To set the Auto On/Off feature
You can set whether you want the handheld to turn on and turn off
automatically at specified times. Setting the Auto On/Off feature
also helps to conserve your handheld battery.
1. On the Home screen, click the
Options
icon. The Device
Options screen appears.
2. Click
Auto On/Off
. The Auto On/Off screen appears.
3. In the field that you want to set, press the
Space
key
until the
preferred option appears.
4. Click the trackwheel to view the menu. Click
Save
.
You return to the Device Options screen.
Tip:
To enable a profile quickly, scroll to it and press the
Space
key.
You can also add, edit, and delete notification profiles. Refer to the

Handheld User Guide
for more information.
Note:
If you turn off your handheld using the Auto On/Off feature,
Calendar reminders, Task reminders, and Alarm notifications turn on
the handheld. If you do not want the handheld to turn on for these
notifications, turn off the handheld by holding the silver key (for the
palm-sized handheld) or by clicking the
Turn
Power Off
icon on the
Home screen. Refer to "Turning on and turning off your handheld" on
page 35 for more information.
