Activating CAP lock
• Press

CAP
to activate capital letter-lock mode. Any
key that you press will be capitalized.
• Press either
SHIFT
key again to return to regular mode.
An “up arrow” icon appears in the top right corner of your
screen when capital letter-lock mode is activated.

Activating NUM lock
• Press

to activate number-lock mode. When
you press a key, the character printed on the key in the
alternate color is inserted.
• Press
ALT
or either
SHIFT
key again to return to regular
mode.
An “ N ” icon appears in the top right corner of your screen
when number-lock mode is activated.

Selecting multiple items in a list
• Hold either
SHIFT
key while rolling the trackwheel to
select multiple items in a screen that contains a list.
ENTER

Inserting carriage returns; choosing selected items
• Press

to insert a regular carriage return that
moves your cursor to a new line.
• Press

to choose a selected item.
BACKSPACE

Deleting previous characters

to move the cursor backwards and to
delete characters to the left of the cursor.
