5.1 Printer Sharing
(All unidirectional, bidirectional,
and GDI printers)

ENERAL
Connect your PCs and printer as
recommended in
Chapters 3
and
4
.
From your PC, print as you would if
you were connected directly to the
printer. The Peripheral Sharer will
automatically connect your PC to the
printer. When your print job is
finished, the Peripheral Sharer will
wait until it has detected no data
transfer for the timeout period
(normally 20 seconds) and then
return to auto-scan mode.
Connections are made on a first-
come-first-served basis. If the printer
is in use and you are not using a
print spooler, you may get a “printer
off-line” message and have to wait
until the printer is free.
