RISC ROUTER EXPANDABLE

WAN Connectors

The WAN ports are initially configured for RS-449 and are compatible
with the RS-422/423 electrical standard.

1.

Locate the two WAN interfaces on the back panel of the RISC Router
Expandable. The interfaces are labeled “WAN #1” and “WAN #2.”

2.

Connect a 37-pin female RS-449 connector to either WAN interface.
The connector has clamps on each side that must be pinched to
attach to the interface.
