The automatic email facility works in conjunction with the event logger The event codes tab box enables
priorities on individual events to be changed, by clicking on the Event Codes tab you will be presented with the
following screen :
On each line, the first number represents the unique event code which is allocated by the tester and
should not be changed. The second number is the event priority. Priorities can range from 0 to 9
with 9 being the highest priority. The third item on each line is the actual character string associated
with each event, these
can
be changed, but it is normally recommended to leave these at the factory
settings.
You will notice that some events have reason codes associated with them, for example, event code
05 in the example above represents a protocol layer going down. There may be several reasons for
this and they are allocated the reason codes below e.g. Event Code 05, Reason Code 01 means that
the layer went down due to inactivity on the circuit.
When you click
OK
, any changes you made will be saved to the tester.
