4. Advanced Configuration
4.1 Configuration Backup and Restore
Backup all configurations of this access point to a file, so you can make several copies of the access point configuration for securi-
ty reasons.
To backup or restore the access point configuration, follow these instructions:
Click on the Configuration Tool on the left of the Web management interface, and the following screen will be displayed on your
web browser:

Option
Description
Backup Settings
Press the Save... button, and you’ll be prompted to download the configuration as a
file. The default filename is config.bin. You can save it as another filename for different
versions, and keep it in a safe place.
Restore Settings
Press the Browse… button to pick a previously-saved configuration file from your com-
puter, and then click on the Upload button to transfer the configuration file to the
access point. After the configuration is uploaded, the access point’s configuration will
be replaced by the file you just uploaded.
Restore to Factory Default
Click on this button to remove all settings you made, and restore the access point’s
configuration back to factory default settings.
