7.11 Setting SAT-IF Gain (ES26 only)
The picture below shows how to adjust the SAT RF gain, in order to optimize the transmission
performance in terms of noise, intermodulation and BER.

Notes:
1. The SAT RF gain setting is only relevant in AGC-on mode.
2. The setting range for SAT RF gain might change slightly from device to device due to
production tolerances.
3. Changing the RF gain changes the input sensitivity of the ES26 in AGC off mode; 0 dB is
the nominal SAT RF gain.
Setting the RF gain to e.g. 2 dB improves the input
sensitivity of the ES26 from e.g. 90 dBµV to 92 dBµV.
