AND AV1423/004: The adjustment timer can be
used only by moving the volume adjustment selector from maximum volume position. It can be done by
using a cutter screw driver.
7. VOLUME/MUTE ADJUSTMENT CONTROL.
Positioning the selector upwards, the maximum volume of the ringer is already set; by positioning the
selector in intermediate position, the minimum volume is set and with the selector downwards, the ringer
is completely excluded. The last option is pointed out by a red fl ag on the monitor
8. SIGNALLING LED: it is green after a call. It is red in order to indicate the open door condition if the proper
sensor is wired to the outdoor station.
CALL RECEPTION AND “VIDEO TRANSFER” FUNCTION
After receiving a call, the user’s monitor rings with the sound set according to the following schedules:
From video doorphone call reception, it is always possible to control the outdoor station electrical lock
activation also without releasing the handset. If in the fl at there are more than one monitors in parallel (4 at
maximum) the extensions 0 and 1 ring immediately; following the extensions 2 and 3 ring. The extension 0 of
the user also controls the monitor activation. In this case, during all the waiting release time (60s from the
call before releasing the handset), the extensions can access to their monitor by pressing the auto-activation
button, “
•
” (‘video transfer’ function), till the release of one of the handsets of the user called. After releasing
the handset, the image will be present only on the extension which has released. The camera image will be
present only on one monitor at time.
AUTO-ACTIVATION FUNCTION
If the monitor is in relax and the handset is hooked up, it is possible to go ahead with the auto-activation
on the “Main” station by pressing the button “
•
” (please see outdoor sets services). By releasing the handset,
it is in audio and video communication with the Main outdoor station. Moreover the user can open the door
at any time.
INTERCOMMUNICATING CALLS FORWARDING
After programming “
•
” – “A” – “B” buttons for the intercommunicating function (please see the programming
paragraph), release the handset and push the button. Depending on different conditions of the monitor called,

we can have various cases as follows:

Free monitor
: the caller monitor produces a confi rmation tone (2 beeps) and the called monitor rings. At
the release of the called one they are into communication;
♦
Busy monitor
: The caller monitor produces a dissuasion tone (4 fast beeps). Re-hook and try again later.
CALL AT FLOOR FUNCTION
The monitor is equipped with a couple of connectors (P) for the connection of the button of the call at fl oor.
By pressing the button, the monitor produces a ring of 3s according to the sound already set. If the user has
more monitors in parallel, connect this button only to the extension “0”. The 0 and 1 extensions are ringing
immediately; the 2 and 3 extensions are ringing following.
OPEN DOOR FUNCTION OF THE MAIN OUTDOOR STATION
If a door sensor is connected to the SAP / 0 connectors on the “Main” outdoor station, the monitors can
visualize the physical condition of the door. When the door is open, the signalling led will become red.
ADDITIONAL RINGER MANAGEMENT
The monitor is equipped with an exit control on the couple of connectors (S-, S+) enabling the activation of
an additional ringer or of a relay. The exit is managed contemporaneously to the production of any kind of
call ring.

INSTALLATION
1 Fix up the arrival of the cables tray, used either for the system wiring or the bracket cables passage. The
suggested height is from 1,48 to 1,52 meters from the fl oor
fi g.2
).
2 Fix the bracket to the wall by using the four screws provided, and match the central light to the
prospective embedded box, previously walled-in, or with the cable exiting from the wall.
3 Connect Bfast line cables to BUS connectors present on the terminal board.
4 In case of call at fl oor, wire the remote button between the connectors P and P, present on the terminal
board.
5 In case of additional ringer, wire the activation control of the ringer to S+ and S- connectors, present on
