5.3. GUARANTEE
• BIOWAIR TOTAL SYSTEMS guarantees the
product at the time of original purchase does
not have defects in materials and workmanship
(limited guarantee). BIOWAIRTOTAL
SYSTEMS offers on its equipment a
commercial and voluntary guarantee, whose
conditions are similar to those of the legal
guarantee, according to which BIOWAIR
TOTAL SYSTEMS is responsible for any non-
conformity of the equipment in the terms
described below, with the specialty that
BIOWAIR TOTAL SYSTEMS offers, in addition,
a 2-year TOTAL guarantee on spare parts.
• BIOWAIR TOTAL SYSTEMS will be responsible
for any non-conformity within six months of the
sale of the equipment. If the non-conformity
appears six months after delivery, the user
must prove that the non-conformity already
existed when the equipment was delivered,
that is to say that it is a manufacturing non-
conformity. The user must inform BIOWAIR
TOTAL SYSTEMS of the non-conformity of
the equipment within a period of less than
TWO MONTHS since they become aware of it.
• In order to obtain service under the terms
of this guarantee it is necessary to prove in
detail the date of purchase of the device since
the period of validity of the guarantee starts
with the purchase invoice of the device by the
customer. However, under no circumstances
will the company be responsible for defects
that may arise after thirty-six months from
the date of manufacture of the product.
• This guarantee is strictly limited to the repair
of the equipment by our official technical
service or at the factory of the damaged part
or parts. Or to the complete replacement of
the equipment when, in the manufacturer’s
opinion, this is not possible or would be
uneconomical. It does not include any other
expenses such as installation, disassembly, or
transportation.
• This guarantee does not include defects or
malfunctions caused by accidents, misuse of
the device, negligence, wear and tear, breaks,
incorrect installation, and incorrect power
supply to the device. This guarantee is also
excluded if the product is used for any other
purpose than the indicated in this manual;
for alteration, modification, manipulation, or
unauthorized repair of the product; and for
other causes beyond the manufacturer that
affect the product after its delivery.
• The guarantee does not include costs and
expenses for access to the equipment or its
installation, for example in the case of hidden
locations, at heights, in false ceilings that
cannot be accessed or similar situations. They
also do not include expenses for the removal or
replacement of constructive or other elements
for access to the equipment or installation.
• No equipment will be returned to BIOWAIR
TOTAL SYSTEMS without a coded GOODS
RETURN
• AUTHORIZATION that is to say, an official
one. BIOWAIR TOTAL SYSTEMS assumes no
responsibility in case that any equipment
is returned without the prior authorized
RETURN OF GOODS, mentioned above.
• BIOWAIR TOTAL SYSTEMS or its technical
services reserve the right to decide whether to
repair or replace the damaged components or
the complete replacement of the equipment.
None of these options will prolong the initial
guarantee period.
• All repairs must be carried out by the Technical
Service authorized by the manufacturer
or its agents. Manipulations carried out by
unauthorized personnel will invalidate the
prescriptions of this guarantee. If replacement
is necessary, the equipment must be sent to
the selling center, which will be in charge of
receiving the equipment.
• LIABILITY LIMITATION: BIOWAIR TOTAL
SYSTEMS, as manufacturer, is not responsible
for material or personal damages that
directly or indirectly may result from a wrong
installation of the equipment, incorrect
handling or by personnel lacking the
necessary technical qualifications, nor for the
installation costs of the equipment, which are
expressly excluded from this guarantee.
• None of these conditions may be modified
or extended in any place without the express
consent of BIOWAIR TOTAL SYSTEMS.
