CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
4.3. FILTER PACK MAINTENANCE
4.4. METALLIC MESH PRE-FILTER MAINTENANCE
4.5. PARTICLE SENSOR MAINTENANCE
The filter pack must be replaced as indicated in
the previous section of this manual.
Among the consequences of not changing it
would be a drop in air flow speed, the release of
unpleasant odors due to the activated carbon
filter being saturated, or not moving enough air
to ensure comfort in the thermal stabilization
system in heat mode.
The CRU Biow incorporates a pre-filter that can
be easily washed.
Only water should be used to clean this filter
and dry it completely before replacing it in the
equipment.
Biow has three different PM (particulate matter)
readings that you can select by pressing the +
button for 3 seconds.
Sometimes the particle sensor can become
clogged causing an erroneous reading of the
particle level in your unit. When it is clogged,
the display will show a value of 999. For correct
operation, clean it by putting the mouth of your
vacuum close to the air entry on the sensor,
located on the lower right side of the device.
