Allow 5 minutes for the test disc to reach operating temperature

Select QC mode for control testing and follow on

screen instructions.

Testing Procedure
•
Select operator (mandatory for QC mode).
•
Read spinit® disc barcode you want to test.
•
The option SKIP does not apply when using BC controls.
•
Press the reagent blister firmly using your thumb.
(if applicable)
•
Open the foil pouch, remove the disc and place it on a flat surface
with label facing up.
•
Discard the foil pouch in suitable waste containers.
•
Inspect the disc. Do not use it if it is damaged.
•
Extract the sample directly from the control vial;
•
Read spinit® control barcode or press skip to enter concentration
values
Observe if the sample area is fully loaded. If not, it is only possible to refill
if you have not wiped the strip.
•
Clean the strip and gently wipe each side on non
-
absorbent paper
paying special attention not to squeeze as this will remove the sam-
ple;
•
Make sure the sample area is fully loaded;
If not, discard the strip and use a new one.
