Preflight Setting 

The Preflight setting automatically wakes the Logger unit from sleep prior to the start of a scheduled acquisition. 
(Preflight options are 2, 5, 8, or 15 minutes.) When enabled, the Preflight screen displays a countdown timer to the 
acquisition start time, along with Summary information screen showing transmitter status. If an error is detected, 
such as a transmitter not properly powered on, the Logger will vibrate/beep a warning. This gives the user sufficient 
time to make a correction if necessary without aborting the acquisition. To set up a Preflight interval:

After setting a scheduled start time for an acquisition (Steps 1-4 above,) scroll to the “Preflight” option. 

 

Use the 

 button to select a Preflight interval. In the example above, a sleeping Logger will 

automatically wake up five minutes prior to the scheduled start of acquisition.
