A. How to Connect the ECG Cable
◈
With the use of an electric pacemaker, do not touch the patient, table, or other equipment.
◈
Check if the ECG cable is damaged before taking the ECG measurement. (A damaged
ECG cable cannot protect the patient.)
◈
Do not use disposable electrodes. (They may cause noise.)
When the patient is on stable condition, lay him down on the bed.
Then spread EKG gel all over the parts where the electrodes are to be attached.
Please confirm the EKG signal on LCD screen after attaching the patient electrodes to the patient
Please rub the skin with the gel, the alcohol or the water before measuring the patient
Attach the patient’s electrode to the sites shown below.
B. Electrode Attachment
Check the status of the electrode attachment
When you measure a patient's condition
- Make sure if there are mechanical hazards or not
- Check the cable connected to External and accessories.
- Check all of the measuring instruments to measure the patient
C. Electro Cardiography
After attaching electrodes to the patient, Turn the power switch
Set the filter, Wave size, printing speed, channel composition, printing time, diagnosis.
Input the patient information
Check the state of ECG signal and the state of Lead through the LCD screen.
Check the electrode connection if the signal is in bad condition
BCM-600 records the patient’s ECG by press printer button
BCM-600 analyzes and prints the cumulated ECG data for 10 seconds.
“Please wait” will be appeared in case the ECG data are cumulated within 10seconds.
Press printer button in order to stop working for ECG analysis or to stop printing
