6.8 Other misuse

Do not short circuit (+) and (-) terminals
intentionally with metallic objects.

Do not penetrate the equipment
with sharp objects, like needles or
screwdrivers.

Do not heat the equipment with heating
elements such as a soldering iron.
»
Do not expose the equipment to shock
with heavy objects such as a hammer.
»
Do not step onto the equipment, neither
throw or drop the battery on the floor.
Avoid mechanical shock.
»
Never disassemble the equipment or
modify the original design.
6.9 Battery, other warnings
and notices

Stop using the equipment if it gets
abnormally hot or discoloured.
»
If odour would occur, stop using the
equipment immediately and keep away
from fire.
»
Replace the battery unit when it shows
significantly lower capacity.
»
If the battery or BCD hand unit should be
stored for a longer time each unit must be
disconnected and placed in a cool
environment with low humidity.
»
While charging, used or stored, the
equipment shall be kept away from
materials with static energy.
