6.4 Handling

The hand unit must not be subjected to
impact or shock.

Place hand unit with treatment surface
facing up when not in use. The rubber ring
on top of the device reduces the risk of the
equipment to slide down on the floor.
6.5 Cleaning
»
Never clean the equipment when
connected to power supply.
»
Clean the treatment surface with a damp,
soft cloth prior to and after completed
treatment. Cloth should be moistened
with disinfectant solution.
WARNING:
Do not sterilize the Device or
any of its parts. Do not use the device or
any of its parts if it has been sterilized.
CAUTION:
Do not rinse the equipment
underneath pouring water.
6.6 Service & Maintenance
Equipment shall immediately be sent to
Biolight AB if:

If the device enclosure is visibly damaged.
»
If equipment is not working after self
check described in section 5.2.
WARNING:
No modifications of this
equipment is allowed.
WARNING:
Service may only be
performed by Biolight or by Biolight
authorized personnel.
WARNING:
Do not perform service or
maintenance while the equipment is in
use.
6.7 Transport and storage
»
Keep equipment dry and free of dust.
»
Protect from sunlight.
»
Avoid mechanical vibrations.
»
Do not store outdoors.
»
Do not store the equipment in
environment where excessive heat or cold
may arise (above 40° C or below -20° C)
»
If the equipment is exposed to heat or
cold as stated above, the equipment’s
temperature shall be normalized by
leaving the equipment at room temperature
for a while.
»
When storing for longer period, the
battery might self-discharge. The
recommendation is to charge the battery
at least every 6 months during periods
when the equipment is not continuously
used.
»
Batteries not being used for longer
periods should be stored in cold
environment (0° C to 25° C).
»
Batteries that are stored for an extended
period should undergo a full charge cycle to
achieve maximum capacity.
