5.2 Start-up procedure

Connect to power supply.

The BCD is automatically powered.

A self check is performed and the
device indicates if an error is identified.

The BCD is ready to use when Biolight is
displayed in the window.
5.3 Start treatment
Press ENTER to navigate to treatment
menu. Navigate through the treatment list by
pushing UP/DOWN buttons. Choose a
treatment by confirm with ENTER. Press
ENTER to start treatment.
5.3.1 Treatment time
The total treatment time is displayed
prior to start of treatment.
During treatment the display shows the
treatment time, counting down to 0.
5.4 Pause or cancel
on-going treatment
Press ENTER to confirm PAUSE.

Continue will continue the treatment.
»
Abort will end/cancel the treatment.
Notice! If the elapsed treatment time left is
more than 30 seconds, the credit will be lost.
(This is not applicable if the BCD is loaded
with day credits).
5.5 Treatment finished
When the treatment is completed the
treatment mode diode is turned off,
FINISHED is displayed in the window and
you hear a beep. Press ENTER to
return to start menu.
5.6 Power save mode
Press HOME to navigate to settings menu.
Choose power save mode, confirm with
ENTER. To restart the hand unit from
Power save mode, press any key.
