Nylon Cable
1.) Remove the Bob and discard the old nylon cable.
2.) Tie a knot 18” from the end of the cable. This will keep from paying out all of the
cable in the event the unit is lowered into a empty vessel.
3.) Thread the same end of the cable through the hole on the front of the supply pul-
ley flange and tie a knot to secure the cable to the supply pulley.
4.) Located on the PC board is a button labled “RET-LO”. Pressing and holding the
button will wind the cable onto the supply pulley.
5.) Thread the nylon cable through and around the idler pullies and the timing pulley
as shown in the above illustration.
