Do not take the electric cord out of the socket during operation
of the appliance. You should first turn it off.

After using the appliance let it cool for a few minutes. After
that you can boil water in it again.

BEFORE FIRST USE
Remove all packing materials from appliance;
make sure that there are no foreign items in it.
Wash internal surface of kettle with warm
soapy water, rinse carefully and wipe dry. In
case of unusual odor fill the kettle up to a maxi-
mum level with vinegar solution (1 element of
9% vinegar per 20 elements of water), let the
kettle soak for an hour. Then wash out the kettle with tap water,
boil water in the kettle and pour it out.
OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
1. Place the kettle with power base on dry hori-
zontal surface.
2. Lift the kettle off the base

open the lid

and fill the kettle
with water.
3. Make sure the water level stays between
the minimum and the maximum marks on the
water gauge

. Do not switch on an empty kettle.
4. Close the lid

and replace the kettle on the base

5. Plug the cord into the outlet with the same voltage as indicated
on the appliance
6. The moment the water has boiled the device will automatically
shut itself off. If necessary, switch the kettle off manually be-
fore the boiling process is over by pushing the on/off button.
