useful life of a component has been exceeded, it
may break suddenly, which may result in injury to
the user. Cracks, scratches and discolouration in
areas subject to heavy stress indicate that the
component has exceeded its useful life and should
be replaced.
A pad may also wear way due to the handlebar’s
strong vibrations. In this instance, contact the
manufacturer as the pad must be replaced and/or
the handlebar must be checked and adjusted.
