WPS
WPS (WiFi Protected Setup) feature is a standard protocol created by Wi-Fi Alliance. This
protocol is used to build a Wi-Fi network within a home / small office environment in an easy
and secured manner. This feature thus provides a much simplified method to configure Wi-Fi
Protected Access to those who know very little about wireless security.
Set up of security-enabled Wi-Fi network
Step 1:
Note down the AP’s PIN from Web (Ex: 78749887).
Step 2:
Open wireless client’s WPS utility (Ex: Atheros Jumpstart WPS utility), select
“Configure a wireless network” and apply “next” button.
