AS-Interface parameter bit 3: Pt100-elements which are to be attached
By means of this parameter bit, it is possible to adjust whether 3-wire-Pt100 ele-
ments or 2-wire-Pt100 elements are attached. At the PT100 module in IP20 and
IP65 with M12 connection 2-wirre- or 4-wire-elements can be attached.

5.4.4
Transmission Time of Analog Parameters of the AS-Interface Pt100 Module
The transmission time of analog parameters depends on the one hand on the con-
version time of analog signals to digital signals in the AS-Interface module, on the
other hand on the transmission time via the AS-Interface.
The conversion time of 4 Pt100-input signals into digital signals amounts to
480 ms.
The transmission time of 4 16 bit parameters via the AS-Interface amounts - in
worst case - to 7 AS-Interface cycles per parameter. With one cycle period being
5 ms per AS-Interface cycle this sums up to a transmission time of 4 * 7 * 5 ms =
140 ms via AS-Interface.
The total transmission time for transmission of 4 temperature parameters amounts
- in worst case - to 620 ms.
