Pin Configuration of the AS-Interface Pt100 Module in IP20 with 4 Channels
Connection of a 2-wire-Pt100 element to the AS-Interface Pt100 module in
IP20 with 4 channels:
Channel 1 applies to terminals 6 and 7, channel 2 applies to terminals 10 and 11,
channel 3 applies to terminals 15 and 14 and channel 4 applies to terminals 19 and
18.
Terminals 6, 10, 15 and 19 (Ch. +) are interconnected inside the module.
Connection of a 4-wire-Pt100 element to the AS-Interface Pt100 module in
IP20 with 4 channels:
Channel 1 applies to terminals 6 - 5, 8 - 7, channel 2 applies to terminals 10 - 9,
12 - 11, channel 3 applies to terminals 15 - 16, 13 - 14 and channel 4 applies to
terminals 19 - 20, 17 - 18.
Terminals 6, 10, 15 and 19 (Ch. +) are interconnected inside the module.
4-wire-Pt100 sensors yield better results than 2-wire-sensors.
Switching between 4- and 2-wire-sensors takes place via AS-Interface parameter
bit 3.
The Pt100 moduls are deliverd with resistors between terminal 10 and 11, 15 and
14 as well as 19 and 18. With that it is prevented that a fault message is notified
by the module when it is brought into service and only one sensor is attached.
