1. When all sets in section 5.12 are complete, proceed with
the following steps below.
2. When the bale is in the correct position, hold down the
'BLACK' button and push forward to 'Close Grab arm'

) causing the bale to be squeezed tight against the
'Pickup' guide (

3. Press the 'YELLOW' button and push the 'Joystick' right
to 'Insert Tines'

CAUTION:
Ensure the tines have penetrate
d
the bale
sufficiently. If tines do NOT penetrate the bale enough, it
could cause damage to the machine if the bale were to fall
off the pickup.
CAUTION
:
The bale has the chance to get ripped off the
'Pickup' and detach itself from the tines. So beware that no
one is standing under or near the 'Pickup' when the bale is
supported off the ground by the 'Pickup'.
4.
When it is considered that the tines are in sufficiently,
press the 'BLACK' button the pull the 'Joystick' backwards
to 'Open Grab Arm'

When the 'Grab Arm' is completely open, press and hold
the 'YELLOW' button and push the 'Joystick' forward to
raise
the 'Pickup' with the bale (
Fig. 59
).
Note
:
The 'Turntable Hooks' will retract automatically when
the 'Pickup' is asked to be raised.
6.
When the 'Pickup' is at the top of its stoke (180 degrees),
stop pushing the 'Joystick' forward, keep holding down the
'YELLOW' button while pushing the 'Joystick' left to retract
tines
(

).

AUTION
:
The bale will be loose on the 'Turntable'. If you
want to secure the bales onto the 'Turntable', change into
'Stack Manual Mode' and press the 'RED' button and push
the 'Joystick' to the right to 'Insert Hooks' (
Fig. 61
).
7.
When the bale is secure, return to 'Field Manual Mode'
and hold the 'YELLOW' button down, pulling the 'Joystick'
back to lower the 'Pickup'
