Step 15: Front Wall Assembly
A:
Attach 1 (F5) Cedar Wall to (F13) Post using 2 (S2) #8 x 1-1/2” Wood Screws and to (BR8) Roof Upright with 2
(S1) #8 x 1-1/8” Wood Screws. Make sure (F5) Cedar Wall is tight to the floor boards and flush to the edge of the
(F13) Post. (fig. 15.1)
B:
21-1/2” above the floor boards attach 1 (F5) Cedar Wall to (F13) Post with 2 (S2) #8 x 1-1/2” Wood Screws,
make sure (F5) is square and then attach to (BR8) Roof Upright with 2 (S1) #8 x 1-1/8” Wood Screws. (fig. 15.1)
C:
Starting at (F13) Post, flush to outside edge of (F5) Cedar Wall and working towards (BR8) Roof Upright, at-
tach 7 (F7) Wall Boards to both (F5) Cedar Walls using 4 (S0) #8 x 7/8” Truss Screws per board. Make sure the
bottom of the boards are tight against the floor boards and the bevelled edges to the top, facing out and there are
no gaps between boards. (fig. 15.2)
