Boost function

On models with 5 output levels, the highest output level is designed as a boost function with a brief runtime and
automatic fallback function (pursuant to EEC directive). The hood runs at maximum output for about 5 minutes
and then automatically switches back to a circulation output of less than 650 m³/h.

When         is touched (reduce output)

a „1“ is displayed in the output display. This means: the lowest output level „1“ is automatically selected when this
control surface is pressed.
This control surface is also used to reduce the blower output. The output level is continuously decremented down
to the lowest output level when the control surface is depressed continuously.

Dwell timer

By enabling the dwell timer, the hood remains in operation at the programmed setting for an additional X minutes
and then automatically shuts off. During this time, the hood can be reset on demand to normal mode by disabling
this function.

The control sounds cannot be disabled.

INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS

Before starting the installation, it is essential that you review and observe the warnings in the „Safety Instruction“
section!

Proper installation - position and height

A headless extractor hood from Bielmeier can be installed by 2 people in a minimum of time. However, we
recommend having the installation performed professionally. Bielmeier is not liable for damage caused by
installation defects.

The hood should be installed on a masonry wall, but at least on a solid wall. Wooden walls, sheetrock structures,
etc. are unsuited, since these act as resonating cavities when the blower is in operation, therefore causing elevated
operating noise.

Contact your stove manufacturer to determine whether a extractor hood can operated above the stove. In order
to determine the ideal clearance between the hood and the stove top, the distance from the horizontal center of
the hood front should be measured to the stove top while the hood is hung. The following specifications generally
apply for headless extractor hoods if the manufacturer of the cooking equipment did not provide separate safety
clearances.

Clearance to electrical stove top

A minimum clearance of 650 mm must be adhered to between an electrical stove top and the horizontal center of
the extractor hood.

Clearance to gas stove top

A minimum clearance of 750 mm must be adhered to between an gas stove top (top edge of pot support) and
the horizontal center of the extractor hood.

Clearance to induction stove top

The clearance for induction stove tops is the same as for electrical stove tops.

If different cooking equipment is used, the larger specified clearance always applies.

Width of hood in relation to stove top

The width of the extractor hood and the width of
the stove top should be identical.
Cover the stove top while installing the hood to
avoid damaging the stove top.

Install the hood in a dry location without direct exposure to sunlight. Verify that the wall has the
proper strength and load-bearing capacity. Install the hood centered over the stove top
